Announcement: Baldwin-Emerson Fellow for Oral History Project
I’m incredibly excited to be named a Baldwin-Emerson Fellow, selected by Jacqueline Woodson, for the “I See My Light Shining” oral history project. My project will center the stories of Latina lesbian and queer elders, documenting their lives and work. I see this project as an important contribution to the archive, which far too often leaves marginalized voices out. This project is in partnership with Baldwin for the Arts, the Emerson Collective and Columbia University’s Center for Oral History and Research.
