Metropolitan Museum of Art Collaboration

A few months ago, The Met commissioned me to write seven original poems inspired by 18th century composer, Joseph Haydn's, "Seven Last Words." The poems wrestled with our current political movement, and the fundamental question of who "belongs" in America. The project was a collaboration with the award-winning, Aizuri Quartet, and culminated in a live performance.
